We're Not Looking for Someone to Just Write Repair Orders.

We're Looking for a Service Advisor Who Wants to Become One of the Best in Central Pennsylvania.

IS THIS YOU?

You're the type of Service Advisor who:

Enjoys building relationships and earning customers' trust.
Takes pride in delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Communicates confidently, honestly, and professionally.
Understands that listening to customers is just as important as explaining repairs.
Enjoys presenting recommendations, explaining value, and helping customers make confident purchasing decisions.
Is comfortable discussing repair costs and asking customers for authorization.
Can professionally address customer questions and price objections without using high-pressure sales tactics.
Understands that strong sales performance and excellent customer service go hand in hand.
Wants to continue learning and improving every year.
Takes ownership of the customer experience from the initial appointment through vehicle delivery.
Thinks critically, solves problems, and makes sound decisions.
Can manage multiple responsibilities while staying organized and focused.
Works independently while communicating effectively with technicians and management.

WHAT YOU'LL FIND HERE:

At Stroup's Garage, our Service Advisors are trusted professionals who play an important role in the success of our business.
You'll be responsible for building relationships with customers, understanding their needs, and helping them make informed decisions about maintaining and repairing their vehicles.

You'll learn how customers use their vehicles, how long they plan to keep them, and what matters most to them. You'll then help prioritize recommendations based on their initial concerns, safety needs, and maintenance requirements.
You'll work closely with our technicians while respecting their responsibility for diagnosing and repairing vehicles.
Your responsibility is to manage the customer experience, communicate recommendations clearly, coordinate the repair process, and ensure customers remain informed throughout their visit.

Sales and Customer Communication:

We believe successful Service Advisors understand that selling is an important part of helping customers properly maintain their vehicles.

You'll be expected to:

Present repair estimates and maintenance recommendations clearly and confidently.
Explain the value and importance of recommended services.
Help customers understand the consequences of delaying necessary repairs.
Address pricing concerns and objections professionally.
Ask customers for authorization to complete recommended repairs and services.
Follow up on declined recommendations and future maintenance needs.
Build long-term customer relationships that encourage repeat business.
Work toward individual and company sales and performance goals while maintaining our commitment to honesty and integrity.
